Lightning Striping LLC · Jacksonville, NC

Striping my way into racing.

I'm Billy Ammons: U.S. Marine, owner, and the one behind the striper. This is one of our night jobs.

Hold the line.

The Marine Corps taught me one standard. Straight, square, and done when I said it would be.

Lay the line.

You close for the night. We roll in. By morning your lot opens on fresh lines.

The problem

Faded lines make a good property look abandoned.

Tenants notice. Inspectors notice. The driver parked across two stalls definitely notices. Hold the button and watch one job happen.

Services

What we lay down.

Every job gets the same standard, from one handicap stall to a full speedway.

Parking lot striping

New layouts and restripes. Straight lines, the right stall count, arrows that point the right way.

Yellow hatched no-parking zone and blue ADA stall in a parking garage

ADA and fire lanes

Accessible stalls, van aisles, curbs and fire lanes laid out to code, so the inspection is a non-event.

Sealcoating and crack filling

Seal the asphalt and fill the cracks. The lot looks new and the paint holds longer.

The night shift

Your lot stays open. We work when it's empty.

Striping my way into racing

The goal is a race seat. The road there gets striped one lot at a time.

Racing is the dream, and every job we finish moves it closer. Until race day, we paint the lines racers chase: pit lanes, start and finish lines, timing lines, walls and sponsor logos.

"Billy did an awesome job painting the Rockingham Speedway. NASCAR Gods would be proud!"

A Marine's standard on every stall

In the Marine Corps, close enough isn't. That stayed with me. Lines go down straight, stall counts get checked, ADA gets measured, and we clean up before we leave.

Questions

Straight answers.

How long will the lines last?
Standard traffic paint usually lasts one to two years, depending on traffic and sun. Lots that get sealcoated first hold paint longer. We'll tell you straight what your lot needs.
Will my lot be closed?
Not while you're open if we can help it. We work nights and weekends so your lot stays open.
Do you handle ADA and fire lanes?
Yes. We lay out every stall to ADA and fire code: accessible stalls, access aisles, van spaces, curbs and fire lanes.
Where do you work?
All of North Carolina, based in Jacksonville. Depending on the size of the job, we also work in South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama and Florida.
Do you take government and base contracts?
Yes. We're a veteran-owned small business with a UEI and CAGE code. Ask for our capability statement.
How do quotes work?
Call, text, or send the form. We walk the lot, measure it, and send a clear price. The quote is free.
